Bogus
Glad it wasnt an emergency!! I tried it out after the install and it says no Internet connection?? Im on wifi and ice got 3G so.........
dont waste your time
when I try to search, I get the following message, "Request time out, Please check your internet connection. I have 3G and am connected to the internet. One star is too many.
Re-write needed.
Other reviews mention "request timed out please check your Internet connection" - it seems to provide this pop-up prompt if you have any query field contain a space. (Search Dow no problem, search Dow and it doesnt work. Also part of the time-out error is regarding the search parameters. Silly. Not at all like google (suggestions or corrections or auto-fill). Search Polyurethane and you get 1490 results. All displayed is CAPS and only showing the first 20 or so letters of the line. You cant even read the title after clicking on it further. Just shows "..." Stupid. Oh, maybe narrow it down to Polyurethane foam and it [times out] due to the space in the search! Major coding corrections. Not to mention spelling "pervious" (previous).
Indispesable tool
Completely and useful interface and database. In case of non expert peoples saves life and gives elements of first aid specifics for the substance in question. And its free.
Alright in a pinch
Decent information in a pinch but youre better off going to google or OSHA/niosh. They did a poor job organizing the data. If you search for xylene you get 5 result for xylene. It isnt split into m-xylene, o-xylene, etc. its just a collection of xylene msds info from different sources I think. Again. Good in a pinch, but I dont feel comfortable relying on the info. Im a health ad safety consultant and it just doesnt meet my standards.
